Now our high-end hydraulic services for repairs and installations in the Canary Islands are 100% operative.
Zamakona Yards, together with its partner, GS-Hydro, is now offering this range of services at its installations at the Port of Las Palmas, thus enhancing and expanding the extensive services of this type already offered by our Group to its customers.
The hydraulic workshop, located at our facilities in the Port of Las Palmas is equipped with the latest generation of hydraulic equipment and highly qualified, expert personnel in order to guarantee the best hydraulic installations from 1/4″ to 8” working at pressures from 10 to 690 Bar. The shop also offers Fabrication/Pressing of hoses from 1/8” to 2” (6000 Bars)
GS-Hydro is also a World leader in non-welded piping technology, a service also available in the Canary islands.

Presentation ceremony of the agreement between Zamakona and the Finnish GS-Hydro

Yesterday, January 29th at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Zona Franca in the Las Palmas Port took place the presentation ceremony of the Finnish multinational leader in water services GS-Hydro, new partner of Zamakona Yards in Canarias.
The event, attended by leading companies from both Las Palmas Port and Canarias ´industry, attended by the President of the Port Authority of Las Palmas, Mr. Luis Ibarra, Zamakona Yards´ CEO in the Canary Islands, Mr. Álvaro Garaygordobil, Mr. Jukka Suotsalo, Vice President of Business Development at the GS-Hydro Corporation, Mr. Borja Garaygordobil, General Director of Zamakona Yards in Canarias and Mr. Pablo Moya, General Director of GS-Hydro SAU who was in charge of the presentation of the services that GS-Hydro will offer now in Canarias.
This event follows the agreement signed last December in Zamakona´s offices in Las Palmas, has an initial term of two years and will involve the inclusion of hydraulic services in the already extensive range of services offered by the Group Zamakona Yards in the Canary islands.
GS-Hydro is a Finnish multinational with over 40 years of history, inventor of bonding systems seamless pipe and hydraulic industry leader in high performance. ZAMAKONA YARDS SIGNS COLLABORATION AGREEMENT WITH FINNISH MULTINATIONAL GS HYDRO

The agreement, with an initial duration of two years, will include hydraulic services in the already extensive range of services offered by the Zamakona Yards group in the Canary Islands.
Today was held at the Zamakona Yards offices in Las Palmas Port the formal agreement between the two groups materialized by Mr. Borja Garaygordobil, General Director of Zamakona Yards in the Canary Islands and Mr. Pablo Moya, Managing Director of GS-Hydro for Spain, Portugal and France.
In the agreement, the close collaboration between both companies agrees to offer and undertake effectively in the Canary Islands and Offshore the specialized hydraulic services that GS-Hydro, the leader company in the sector, provides in more than 25 countries.
GS-Hydro is the original creator of the technology of pipe joint by seamless flanged, a system developed since 1975 in the North Sea platforms for its ease of installation and durability. Gs-Hydro is a company with great versatility, offering their services to both Naval and Offshore sectors, as well as all types of industries and ground installations.
In the Offshore and Marine sector, the company has a large presence in the Oil and Gas industry. It has recently undertaken a major project in the Scarabbeo 5, a platform of Saipem in Rotterdam. GS-Hydro was responsible for the installation of the main hydraulic winch and replacement of the hydraulic circuit of the B.O.P.
From now on, GS-Hydro is present in the Las Palmas Port having the necessary infrastructure, both machinery and specialized personnel to undertake all types of projects related to hydraulics with the support and collaboration of the Zamakona Yards Group.
