The tug has 70 t bollard pull and 31,50 m length by 12,50 beam. The design has been done by <a title=\"Voith Marine Technology\" href=\"http:\/\/voith.com\/en\/markets-industries\/industries\/marine-technology-221.html\" target=\"_blank\">VOITH DESIGN<\/a>, optimizing the hull shape and including some improvements required by the Client. Classification will be LOYD\u2019S REGISTER, and the notation includes also FIFI 1 with water spay.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The tug is equipped with 2 VOITH 32R5 propulsion units coupled to 2 <a title=\"Marine Engines MAN\" href=\"http:\/\/www.man-mec.com\/en\/marine_engines\/The_product_range.html\" target=\"_blank\">MAN<\/a> main engines <a title=\"Marine Engine MAN 8L27\/38\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mandieselturbo.com\/1016496\/Press\/Pictures\/Marine-Power\/Medium-Speed\/8L27%2F38.html\" target=\"_blank\">8L27\/38<\/a> developing each 2.670 kW.<\/p>\n<p>For towage purposes the aft deck is fitted with a towing hook and a towage winch from <a title=\"Hatlapa\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hatlapa.de\/start.php\" target=\"_blank\">HATLAPA<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Haifa Port Company (HPC) has awarded the international tender for a new build VOITH SCHNEIDER tug to ZAMAKONA Yards. \u00a0 HPC has tendered a tug which is a sister vessel of the ones already operating in the harbor.
