{"id":7523,"date":"2013-04-17T09:10:08","date_gmt":"2013-04-17T09:10:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.zamakonayards.com\/beta\/en\/?p=7523"},"modified":"2016-03-03T11:32:24","modified_gmt":"2016-03-03T11:32:24","slug":"zamakona-yards-signs-a-contract-to-build-a-tuna-fisher","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.zamakonayards.com\/en\/zamakona-yards-signs-a-contract-to-build-a-tuna-fisher\/","title":{"rendered":"Zamakona Yards signs a contract to build a Tuna Fisher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Zamakona Yards<\/strong> has just been awarded a new contract for the construction of a tuna fishing and freezing vessel for the company <strong>Pesquera Miriam SA<\/strong> worth <strong>$ 35 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The ship &#8220;<strong>LJUBICA<\/strong>&#8220;, 89.8 meters in length, is designed for <a title=\"Cintranaval-Defcar S.L.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cintranaval-defcar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Cintranaval-Defcar S.L.<\/strong><\/a> and will have a storage tank capacity of 2,000 m3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The vessel with construction number <strong>C-739<\/strong> from the shipyard is a fine example of the <strong>degree of specialization achieved by Zamakona Yards in building ships for the fishery sector<\/strong>. Zamakona Yards is currently building another tuna fisher with similar characteristics for the company <strong>HARTSWATER LIMITED LTD<\/strong>. Delivery is scheduled for January 2014.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, Zamakona Yards is developing two projects for <strong>SOLVSTRANS<\/strong> to build live fish transport vessels (<a title=\"S\u00f8lvtrans expands the fleet and prepares for further growth with Zamakona Yards\" href=\"http:\/\/www.zamakonayards.com\/en\/solvtrans-expands-the-fleet-and-prepares-for-further-growth-with-zamakona-yards\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>WELLBOAT<\/strong><\/a>) with a load capacity of 3,000 m3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This order<strong> strengthens Zamakona Yards\u2019position as one of the Spanish leaders in shipbuilding<\/strong>.
