The vessel belongs to <a title=\"Eckhoff GMB &amp; CO\" href=\"http:\/\/www.reederei-eckhoff.de\/\" target=\"_blank\">Eckhoff GMB &amp; CO<\/a> and is currently docked at the Reina Sof\u00eda pier in the Port of Las Palmas. The project is being carried out in cooperation with <a title=\"Wartsila Web\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wartsila.com\/en\/Home\" target=\"_blank\">Wartsila<\/a>, one of the world leaders in marine engines.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The engine model is the Wartsila <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zamakonayards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/8L46B.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">8L46B <\/a>with 8 cylinders in line, running vertically and producing 10,605 horse powers at 500 revolutions per minute. The crankshaft weighs 15,000 kg and measures 8 meters.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The work is highly complex, as the engine block, weighing 120.000 kg, is being lifted.
